Austin, TX, December 14, 2012 – Photodex, a leading provider of photo and video slideshow tools for consumers and photographers, today announced that it is celebrating its twenty-fifth year in business. Over the last twenty-five years Photodex has grown phenomenally and developed ground-breaking tools that have helped millions of people across the world turn their photos and video clips into compelling stories and shareable memories.
It all began in 1987, when Paul Schmidt founded Photodex with a simple idea: create good software. In 1991 Photodex released one of the very first digital imaging programs for consumers and has continued to innovate and grow. Some of the highlights from the past few years include:
